Stolen Valor Act of 2005

This Act, signed into law by Pres. George W. Bush in 2006, made it a Federal misdemeanor to falsely represent oneself as having received any military decorations or medals. In 2012, the Supreme Court ruled that this Act was an unconstitutional abridgement of the freedom of speech under the First Amendment and struck down the law. A really stupid decision.

And so, while it is no longer against the law of the land to falsely claim to have been awarded military decorations or medals, there are those who for their own dubious reasons or grossly illogical rationalization do wear undeserved symbols of military acts of valor in battle.  This is really wrong and it is quite upsetting.

By wearing three Purple Heart Medals, ostensibly awarded for significant wounds during his four-month tour of duty in Viet Nam, now Secretary of State John F. Kerry cannot point to any serious wounds that would justify these honored decorations.  Three of them, no less. Shameful and disgusting; Kerry is a phony.

On January 5, 2017, President Barack Hussein Obama had himself awarded a Distinguished Public Service Medal by the Secretary of Defense.  No President, no Commander-in-Chief in the 240 + year history of this nation has ever dishonored the serious symbolism of such an award in such a disgraceful and corrupt manner.  It is very near the top on the list of disgraceful & dishonorable acts by this most pretentious and most cowardly, Narcisisstic Chief-of-State. However, this is typical of Obama’s warped concept of right and wrong. He is a certifiable misfit.
